In his work, Stan Smeets plays with technology. Coming from a background of motion design, he experiments with video in a process that is often led by an open-minded curiosity and playfulness.
Some of his installations are carefully designed digital compositions, whereas other, more experimental installations allow the elements to produce new music or movement by improvisation and interaction. At the same time, Stan’s work is the result of research and exploration into unconventional media and innovations. Bringing challenging projects to life using graphic design, moving image, music and interactive technology.
