Within the project "data visualization" I made a concept animation with a group of students for an app that visualizes music samples in music. The data in the app is based on the WhoSampled database. In the app you will see three ways to visualize the world of music samples. In the first visualization you will see a soundwave that changes color when a sample is used, the second shows a full timeline that shows the location and quantity of the samples. In the last visualization you see a kind of family tree that shows a network of songs that sample each other.
